PROBLEMI QUOTIDIANI DI UN CITTADINO MEDIO
SITUATION: Converting NTSC video to PAL and authoring it to DVD for playback on a PAL TV.
I converted NTSC DV video to PAL using ProCoder. My settings were LOWER field first just like the source. Matrox DV/DVCAM codec was selected.
QUESTIONS:
1. Should I have selected UPPER field when converting it in ProCoder?
2. When opening the file again in premiere do I leave it as the preset states - UPPER first?
2. When I go to encode it in Encore which field order does it need to play correctly on a PAL tv? Will Encore do this reguardless of the field order taht was set?
